i love chocolate pudding and my favorite brand is definitely kozy shack. i was surprised--and excited--to see a new flavor, chocolate hazelnut, while in the store yesterday: chocolate hazelnut. it must be very new because it's not even on their web site. i thought it would be similar to a gianduja.
however, when i sampled it this afternoon, i was a little disappointed to discover that it didn't taste at all like hazelnuts. it tasted pretty much like a dark chocolate pudding, and was very tasty, but not at all hazelnutty. this might be due to the total lack of hazelnuts in the pudding, judging by the ingredient list, unless "natural flavors" is meant to include hazelnuts.
upshot: if you want something that tastes like chocolate + hazelnut, you should get some gianduja ice cream or some nutella.

Agreed. If anything, it's a less-sweet dark chocolate pudding.
